Dial-a-Ride Services

It has come to our notice that some people are telephoning the drivers at their home to book a Dial-a-Ride. This will cause problems to the passengers because drivers change & do not deal with bookings etc.

Please telephone the relevant number listed below to ensure you are booked onto the service you require.

There are a number of Dial-a-Ride services that the PRTA run in West Wales.

Tuesday - St.Dogmaels Dial-a-Ride

In conjunction with Hanes Llandudoch

We will be running a Dial-a-Ride service to the local provision market held at

The Coach House, Llandudoch on Tuesday's, 10-1p.m.

& also to the Craft Market held on the last Saturday in the month at the same venue.

HOW DOES THIS DIAL-A-RIDE WORK

You telephone the booking number before 3.00p.m. on the day before you wish to travel to book your seat.

This will put you through to the Green Dragon Answerphone. You press option 1 & then will be asked to leave a message on the answerphone, with your name, address, time of travel & a contact telephone number.

We will not phone you back unless there is a problem.

The bus will run in the St Dogmaels area, & can take you to & from your home, or the car park opposite the chip shop in the village centre.

£2.00 return, children travel free, & All Wales bus pass holders travel free.

The Monday Narberth Doctor Surgery service

Approx 08.30 Tegryn - Mynachlogddu - Maenclochog - New Moat - Clarbeston - Clarbeston Road - Narberth. Return from Narberth approx 12 noon.

You are a member of the PRTA, or you will join on your first trip (as mentioned below).

You telephone the booking number given above (before 4pm on the working day preceding the day you wish to travel) which is the Transport Dept., of PCC. They will take your name & number & will give the details to the driver before the service starts.

The Wednesday Cardigan Dial-a-Ride

Tegryn / Mynachlogddu to Cardigan.
Mynachlogddu at approx 9.30 a.m. and head across to Tegryn and then continue into Cardigan. Returning from: Tesco’s via Finch Square (opposite the Church). If anyone needs to be picked up in the centre of town then please organise this with the driver before you get off the bus.
Return time is at the discretion of the driver after talking to the passengers present on the day to ensure they all have time to do their shopping.
This is what is meant by a "Flexible" service!

The Newport Friday Dial-a-Ride

The whole point of our Dial-a-Ride services is that you book in advance, you will be picked up from your door, & delivered home afterwards.

To use the Dial-a-Ride services you must be a member of the organisation, (unless it is the Cardigan Town Rider which has it's own registration method.)

You may join by paying the driver when you first travel on the bus. Your driver will have the membership form for you. You may also download a form from the Membership page if you wish.
